This setting allows you to configure which dates or date periods appear as columns on the report.
To show values or investment gains for specific date periods, select a date period from the list. If the date you want does not appear in the list, you can add your own dates. For more information, see Dates and Date Periods.
To add more date periods, click Show more.
On the Net Worth report, Columns / Show Values On serves two purposes:
To add up to date columns to the report. The number of columns available to add depends on the Column Display setting.
To sort accounts, assets, and liabilities displayed on the report by either value or account name. For more information on sorting, see Asc / Desc.
When you choose a date from the list, that date is added as columns on the Net Worth report table.
You can set Chart Dates to match the chart's dates to those designated for the table or make chart-specific Show Values On options available.
You can name the dates based on the name of the date selected or use the date as title.
When you choose date ranges, values for the ranges selected are added to the table in columns to the left of return data.
Using this option along with Show Return or Net Investment Gain, you can control exactly how account performance is reported.
This setting behaves the same for PDF versions of the Net Worth report.
In PDF templates you also have the option to Use Inception Date as the start of each date period.
