Applies to: | ||
---|---|---|
✔ Dynamic |
✔ Client Portal |
This setting allows you to display a summary chart of net worth over a series of dates that you select. You might choose to use this if, for example, you wanted to provide a good visual summary of net worth change year over year on the client's report.
This setting is available on dynamic, PDF full, and PDF dashboard version of the Net Worth report.
To only show a net worth table, clear the Show Chart check box.
To show a bar chart above the net worth table, select the Show Chart check box.

This setting lets you add a custom title or no title above the bar chart.
To add a title, type your desired title into Chart title.
Note that in the Net Worth full PDF report, the title is added below the chart.
To omit the title from the report, leave Chart title blank.
This setting lets you choose what date data points are displayed on the chart. Unlike the table, the chart can only be sorted by date. You can either use the same dates as on the table, or use different dates. No matter how the dates appear in the lists, they will appear chronologically in on the charts.
To match chart date periods with the table date periods, select Use report dates (dynamic) or Use table dates below (PDF). When you select this option, dates will always be reported with the oldest date on the left and the most recent date on the right, regardless of the order displayed in the chart. Most users match the chart dates with the table dates.
Most users select this option.
To display different date periods on the chart than on the table, select Select specific dates and choose the desired dates from the Show Values On lists. This is the default setting.
When you Select specific dates, the chart dates are decoupled from the table dates. The dates and number of data points on the chart do not automatically match the table date settings.
When you choose Select specific dates, the Show Values On setting becomes available so you can add the custom dates.
These settings behave the same in the PDF versions of the report.
