Report Settings: Use SMA Categories

This setting allows you to choose whether to use the SMA categories assigned to that account, or to use the classification of the underlying securities within the SMA.
To use the categories assigned to the underlying securities, clear the Use SMA categories check box.
To use the SMA categories assigned in Tamarac, select the Use SMA categories check box.
If the SMA category and the underlying securities' categories are the same, you will not see any change.
You might choose to use this option when reporting on allocation, to emphasize what investment choices are yours and what are the SMA manager's.

Functionality is the same in the PDF report templates as in dynamic reports.
