Learn More About User Management
User Management helps you keep your sensitive data secure by controlling access to specific program areas, accounts, and PDF templates in Advisor View. You can create user groups and then set up roles and assignments that tell Advisor View which users or groups are allowed to perform certain tasks in the program.
Synchronize Account Data With Advisor Rebalancing
Advisor View synchronizes data with Advisor Rebalancing. You can select individual accounts for synchronization after the main daily synchronization has occurred.
Synchronize Data from Portfolio Accounting System
Advisor View synchronizes data with your portfolio accounting system. During the synchronization process, Advisor View imports account and security details as well as transactions and prices for the number of days you specify.
On the System Settings page, you can customize settings such as the display of your accounts and the PDF batch size.
Manage Your Profile Information
Set up your user profile, including a photo, phone numbers, mailing and email addresses, personal biography, professional certifications, and more.
Change the password you use to access Advisor View.
Require Challenge Questions or Mobile Phone Codes to Sign In (Dual Factor Authentication)
Dual factor authentication (DFA) protects against unauthorized logins or account break-ins. When advisors and clients log in from an unrecognized device, you can require them to answer challenge questions or, if the SMS feature has been enabled for your firm, you can require them to enter a code sent to their mobile phone.
The last step in setting up a client portal is to enable portal access. You can do this individually or for multiple client records, and you can send password reset emails to clients who forget their logins, all through our secure password creation process.
