Introduction

On the Assets and Liabilities page, you can grant permission to view assets and liabilities or add and edit them. If you add this page to a client view, your clients access from the Accounts menu by clicking Assets and Liabilities.

Once added, the page looks nearly identical to the Assets and Liabilities page you see in your version of Advisor View.

The primary difference between what you see and what a clients sees on the Assets and Liabilities page is when choosing primary owners. When assigning ownership as an advisor, you will be able to select any client that you have set up in Advisor View. However, if the end client is enabled to add or edit assets through their client portal they will only be able to assign members of their Household.

Allow clients to link outside accounts as assets and liabilities

If you have Yodlee integration enabled, you can select this option to allow clients to use Yodlee to link their held-away assets and liabilities. This option gives clients the same Yodlee linking workflow you use to link assets using the Link Outside Accounts button on the Assets and Liabilities page.
