How Maximum Groups to Show Works
Applies to: | ||
---|---|---|
✔ Dynamic |
✔ Client Portal |
This setting allows you to limit the number of groups to show on the report. If you want all groups to appear, choose All. You may want to limit the number of groups shown if you are viewing a report for an account set containing many groups and your report has limited space. This will be particularly important for PDF reports.
When setting maximum number of groups to show, you balance how the report displays and how much space is allotted with how likely it is that your clients will be confused at seeing an "Other" category. Additionally, very different groups may end up swept into the "Other" category, which might be a source of confusion.
In Dynamic Reports
You can choose to show the following number of groups:
-
All
-
10
-
20
-
30
-
40
-
50
When the maximum number of groups is truncated, all the extra groups will be listed under Other.
In PDF Reports
Functionality is the same in the PDF report templates as in dynamic reports.
