Definition: Indirect Members

Some Households and reporting groups contain members that were not directly assigned as members. This occurs when a reporting group is assigned as a member in a Household or another reporting group, which causes all the reporting group’s members to be implicitly assigned membership as well. This is also called an implicit member.
