Current yield is calculated as: (Annual Income / Current Value)× 100
If you have a report with the following columns:
Current yield is calculated:
(Annual Income Rate ÷ | Price) × 100 = | Current Yield |
(1.4400 ÷ | 57.58)× 100 = | 2.50% |
Historical current yields are not supported. The Allow updates property on the security will not have an impact in calculating this value. Current yield of cash is the annual income rate—current price is 100 for securities of type cash.
