The annual interest rate, with the stated number as the percent (ten percent is shown as 10.0, not 0.10). Zero coupon bonds are shown as 0.00.

Annual Income Rate is a security detail stored in the Tamarac platform. For debt securities the annual income rate is the interest rate, and for equities it is the annual dividend.

For Equities, Mutual Funds, User-Defined, and Unit Trusts:

If Allow Updates is selected in the security details (default), the rate is calculated using the payment frequency from the security information, and the last regular income payment if the ex-date of income is within one year of the As of date. If no regular income payment is found one year prior to the As of date, the rate is taken from the security information.

If Allow Updates is cleared in the security details, the rate is taken from the security information. For Fixed Income, CDs, Mortgage-Backed, and Money, the rate is taken from the security information.
