Definition: Negative Value Position

Positions in a client's account that have a negative value; examples include short positions and options. On the Rebalance Summary and other reporting, negative value positions appear on a different line from any long positions with the same ticker.

You cannot trade negative value positions in Advisor Rebalancing.
