Introduction

The Business Development Summary report gives you an overview of all the Leads and Opportunities in Tamarac CRM. You can run this report to track the progress on your Leads and Opportunities throughout your firm. The report can also be filtered to give you an overview of the business development efforts based on specific criteria such as primary advisor, stage, or rating.

Running the Report

To run the Business Development Summary report, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Reports under My Work.

  2. Select Business Development Summary. The report will open in a new window.

If the report shows a report error when generated, update your Last Contacted filter from Last 7 Days to All, as you may not have any Leads or Opportunities meeting that filter criteria.

Report Fields

The table below lists the fields that appear on the report. Fields marked with a ‡ are configurable by your firm's Data Manager.

Field Name More Information
Full Name Full name of Lead or name of Account associated with the Opportunity.
Potential AUM Potential AUM listed for the Lead or Opportunity.
Estimated Revenue Estimated revenue entered on the Lead or Opportunity.
Last Contacted Displays the last time you had a completed appointment or phone call regarded to the Lead or Opportunity.
Owner Primary Advisor for the Lead or Opportunity.
Stage The stage assigned to the Lead or Opportunity.
Source ‡ The source of the Lead or Opportunity by a general category.
Description More detailed information about the Lead or Opportunity source.
Estimated Close The estimated close date for the new business. This field "pulls" from the Estimated Close date field that appears on the Lead and Opportunity pages.
Show Chart Use this filter to show the funnel charts for Leads or Opportunities.

Fields marked with an * are required.

Fields marked with a ‡ are configurable by your firm's Data Manager.

Fields marked with a § are integrated values from Advisor View.

Filtering the Report

To filter the report, follow these steps:

  1. Run the Business Development Summary report. For instructions, visit Business Development Summary Report.

  2. Use the lists at the top of the page to filter the page and then click View Report.

This Filter... Does This...
Last Contacted Use this filter to show Leads or Opportunities that haven't been contacted within the time frame displayed.
Owner Use this filter to show Leads or Opportunities for one primary advisor or all advisors.
Stage Use this filter to show Leads or Opportunities in a specific stage: new, contacted, discovery, proposal, or all.
Rating Use this filter to show Leads or Opportunities that are hot, warm, cold, or all.
Show Chart Use this filter to show the funnel charts for Leads or Opportunities.

The Report Toolbar

You can use the report toolbar to print the report, browse to new pages, refresh the report content and more. The report toolbar runs across the top of the report.

This Button... Does This...
Takes you to the first page of the report.
Takes you to the previous page of the report.
Takes you to the page number you enter.
Takes you to the next page of the report.
Takes you to the last page of the report.
Type in this box to search for a specific Lead or Opportunity and press ENTER. The results will be highlighted on your report.

Export this report to another format:

  • CSV

  • PDF

  • Excel

  • TIFF

  • Word

Refreshes the report content.
Prints the report.
